Endings and Opportunities

Happy Friday, or it would be if I hadn’t closed the door on an opportunity today. A shame really, endings are not fun, but there you have it. Not everything works out the way we hope. Never mind. There is always something else around the corner if you’re open and willing to take risks that you’ll fail.

Apple Homegrown Promotion

I was invited for the second time to participate in the HOME GROWN ROMANCE Aussie & Kiwi Authors promotion run by Apple iBooks. Love Me Tender is the promoted book this week and you can snag a copy at 99c by clicking on the banner below. Lots of great talent in these two countries.

Amazon Bestseller

An Accidental Affair continues its fantastic run at Amazon.com with a best ranking so far of #93 in the Kindle Store which made it #1 Regency Romance, #1 Historical Romance too. I am so proud, shocked, and amazed by the generous readers who have taken the time to write reviews too. Thank you so much for buying my little book.

Recently Read and Loved

I had  great fun last weekend reading Jade Lee’s the Groom’s Gamble. Such a lovely story. Gave me that warm fuzzy feeling I love at the end of an absorbing romance and I’d happily read the novella again. Here’s the skinny on the plot:

Lyncott, great grandaughter of the Duke of Bucklynde, has a secret. Years ago she was attacked and still bears the terrible scars. To escape the scandal and the reminders, she left everything behind to become housekeeper to a Scottish brother and sister.

Gregory Murray, the Earl Of Hartfell, has a secret as well – he harbors a deep attraction to his housekeeper, Mrs. Lyncott. He knows she has a past, but doesn’t know how to fix the pain that still haunts her. His investigation leads him to the darkest London gaming hell and a villain too powerful to destroy.

Can his love overcome her desperate past? Can she risk her heart despite the evil that still haunts her nightmares?

Well, worth grabbing as it seems to be free right now too!  For more details visit Jade Lee’s website.

What’s Next for me

Revising Keepsake and Just a Dream is my work for the next solid month.

Well, that’s it for me this week. I’ve got my ereader charged and ready for a relaxing night on the couch with someone else’s hot hero. Hope you have a similar weekend. 🙂
