New Review

Many thanks as well to Queen of All She Reads for posting a lovely review for the book during the blurb blitz tour. Here’s an outtake:

The scenes between Imogen and Peter are well written and completely enjoyable.  They have great verbal and emotional chemistry, though Imogen is reluctant to admit to her emotions at first.  Ms. Boyd does a good job developing both characters and I really enjoyed getting to know Imogen and Peter both and learning their strengths and weaknesses.

Queen of all She Reads voted Miss George’s Second Chance 4 1/2 crowns out of 5. Yay and thanks for reviewing Please click here to read the full review of my regency novella.

Happy New Year from Heather Boyd

happy new year 2014Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you’ve all had a safe and fun few days seeing 2014 ushered in and have made lots of exciting plans for the coming year. I’ve made a few writing related goals but aside what I want most of all this year is to carve out a bit of time for myself away from my desk. Writing keeps me pretty stationary for long periods and since I’m my own boss, and toughest critic, this year I need to move more before my muscles freeze up on me.

I especially wanted to thank my readers for making 2013 so  wonderful. THANK YOU. The support and interest in my stories has been incredible and I look forward to bringing new stories to you very soon.

To my friends undertaking a career in writing/publishing I wish you all the very best for 2014. I look forward to reading your work in the coming months because I’m a reader too and I love nothing better than to get lost in a story. There are some great regencies coming soon from Samantha Grace, Julie Johnstone and Bronwen Evans. Cannot wait to read them.

Take care and Happy reading
