For a moment he couldn’t breathe. Whoever she was, she made no attempt to join them, no attempt to tempt him or any other man in the room. But she had done the impossible with one haughty glance. She had made his pulse riot. When she moved on, Constantine continued to stare at the vacant space where she’d stood, waiting for her to come back into view. He’d never been so mesmerized by a woman before. The shock of being instantly aroused to the point of pain took a moment to sink in. She was just a slip of a girl really. Barely grown enough to be in a place like this, let alone have that effect on him. Yet with one glance, an invisible hand had closed around his privates and urged him to follow.

I’ve signed up for my first Hump Day Hook where a small group of authors share a paragraph of a book they’re working on, a new release coming soon or a book already out. I’ve not done a lot of teasers of late. This should be fun.

Today I’m sharing a snippet from an upcoming story, a work in progress, that probably won’t release until the first half of next year. The tentative title is An Accidental Affair … enjoy!
