Who’s Lucky in Love?

Lucky in LoveHi Peeps,

Welcome to his weekends Lucky in Love Blog Hop. I hope you stick around, share your story and leave a comment to go into the draw to win a copy an ebook.

Many thanks to Carrie Anne Ryan for organizing the hop. She always does such a great job at organizing us all.

St Patricks Day has had a special meaning for my family for a number of years. In fact, since a painful start 11 years ago every moment has become sweeter. You see, my youngest son was born on St Patrick’s Day (hence the painful beginning.) LOL That guarantees us a party each year to celebrate with green food. If you have kids, or you’re closely involved with someone else’s, you know that no two children are exactly the same. The nine year age gap might be a factor but my challenge me, amuse me, and make me so proud. I have such good luck in my children.

But wait, you’re not here to listen to me wax lyrical about the boy in my life (to be referred to as the PreTeen and New Adult in social media). You’re here to win a prize. So easy question this blog hop:

Are you feeling lucky? How are you lucky? I wanna know.

One lucky commenter will win a digital copy of Engaging the Enemy, the first novel in The Wild Randall’s series.

This is the cover of Engaging the Enemy

A duchess should be regal, aloof and the image of calm elegance. But those words have never applied to Mercy, Duchess of Romsey. A widow and mother of a young duke, Mercy is lonely and floundering to keep the estate afloat. When she discovers the existence of Leopold Randall, her husband’s estranged cousin, Mercy commits to help him locate his missing siblings if he’ll return the estate to order. Although cautioned against trusting a man who would inherit everything should her son die, she impetuously hands over the estate to Leopold’s care in the hope of keeping him near.

Leopold Randall, heir to the young duke, has returned to Hampshire to demand information regarding the fate of his missing siblings. Unfortunately, the Duchess of Romsey is clueless about them, yet her struggle to maintain the estate tugs at Leopold’s sense of duty. At her insistence, he steps in to bring order to chaos while searching for hints to his family’s whereabouts amongst the old duke’s papers. Yet the duchess tempts him in ways best unspoken. He fights to hide his weakness for her and a shameful past that could see him banished again. But when Leopold discovers a threat against the duchess and young duke’s life, he must join forces with the temptress to protect his last known relative.

The series has just had a cover change in preparation for the upcoming release of the third book in the series. Follow the blog or signup for the newsletter to hear the release date first, but don’t forget to leave a comment on this post!

The Distinguished Rogues of London have met their match and are about to have their world turned upside down. The Marquess of Ettington better be quick in CHILLS. Lord Daventry has his hands full in BROKEN. But can Lord Carrington become a knight in shining armor in CHARITY? This ebook boxed set contains three full length regency romance novels.

To enter the draw, all you need do is answer one simple question.

What do you hope never to get as a Valentine’s Day gift?

To start you off, I’ll share mine.

I hope I never get a vaccum cleaner for Valentines Day. I don’t care how expensive it is, it’s just going to suck. (Get it? Sorry, my sad attempt at humour)

Can’t wait to read yours!

UPDATE: Contest closed. Winners to be notified shortly by email. 🙂

Angels and Demons Blog Hop

From June 28 to July 1st Paranormal G Spot and Romance with Bite presents the Angels and Demon’s Blog hop.

Starting today, hop along with me to 103 other Author, Blogger and Reviewer sites as we ponder the question: Angels or Demon’s . . . Who do you want?

Each blog has a different giveaway up for graps and there is a grand prize draw for

* A kindle touch
* And an Amazon or B&N Gift Card valued at $60

I love reading good paranormal romance. Vamps, Siren’s, Gnomes, Demons, Fairies and Wolves float my boat. Sadly, I’m uninspired to write those particular monsters myself. My heart belongs to Gargoyles.

I’m an historical romance author so Gargoyles fit into the regency era quite well. Carved granite gargoyles  adorn many old buildings and its not difficult to imagine they’re listening in.

These fantastical, elogated animal forms are designed to carry water far beyond the masonry walls to prevent mortar erosion so I have plenty of scope for shape and size.

The term gargoyle is most often applied to medieval stone work but they exist in Ancient Eygpt, Greek Temples (Temple of Zeus), Paris (Notre Dame).

If you’re curious about my unpublished regency paranormal world (its still a wip), I’ve uploaded a sample excerpt of The Gargoyle Court in PDF form for your reading pleasure.

To enter the draw for the grand prize, and also to go into the random draw to win one title from my backlist, leave a comment below.

New Year Blog Hop Spot #52!

Welcome to the New Years Blog Hop! Thanks to Carrie Ann Ryan, our organiser and hop central location, there are 69 blogs participating and loads of prizes. On top of my prize, there is a chance to win:

A Kindle Fire  and an $80 Amazon Gift Card!

New Year Blog Hop Spot #52 To go into the draw, tell me what’s your favorite or most memorable new year’s memory? For those of you who do and leave your email address, you’ll ALSO be entered to win a copy of my latest ebook release, The Almack’s Alternative.

Curious about mine? THE best new years eve was the one my family spent on Lake Macquarie in our boat, watching the fireworks from an amazing front row seat. No overcrowding, comfortable chairs, good food and swimming off the back of the boat at midnight. Absolute bliss.
