What have I been doing? A writing update and thank you

Is it time for a writing update?

Can you believe 2013 is almost over? I’m kinda in shock and wondering where the year has gone. I’ve been so busy writing my regency romances that I’ve skimped on writing updates here on my website. So if I haven’t been here then what exactly did I do for the past twelve months? I wrote a lot of regency romances. Hmm, let me see what I did manage to accomplish this year.

New Stories

  • Guarding the Spoils
  • Miss Watson’s First Scandal
  • Hunting the Hero
  • Miss George’s Second Chance

Two novels and two novellas. Plenty of new regency romances to keep you up late. 🙂

Revised and republished

  • One Wicked Night – wicked short story
  • Love Me Tender – part one of the Love Me duo

After publisher Noble Romance shut up shop and returned my book rights I had both books reedited prior to publishing again. I hope everyone has enjoyed the updated and now fairly priced works if they missed them the first time round.

That’s a huge amount of work right there when you count in new book covers, formatting and uploads. My editors have been simply amazing this year.  Love their dedication to their craft and patience with my work.

Over the course of this year, and this year is still going because I’ve not stopped working yet, I’ve written over 290K new words in stories alone. More words written than published wish means I’m ahead for 2014. Woo hoo! Good times. No wonder my writing updates have been few and far between. LOL

Many thanks to you wonderful readers who’ve picked up the odd copy of my work and been kind enough to contact me or leave a lovely review around the web. Those words of encouragement keep me writing and discovering new ways to make my characters find the one their meant to love. More of that to come. Everyone deserves a happy ending in my regency world.

Take care

  1. Wow! with all that accomplished how did you find time to eat and sleep? or did you? I can’t finish my novel and am readying a book of my shorts for publication early in the year. But life is getting in the way and I’m getting cranky 😀
    Have a restful holiday

    • LOL I have kids so meals always happen or they nag me. Sleeping … yeah mostly. Writing is my full time gig but if I write too late at night I don’t sleep well for obsessing. Switching off can be tricky for me. You have a great holiday too. I’m hoping to get some reading done.
